I don’t know what’s wrong with the weather in northern Indiana these days. It’s likely having an identity crisis. We’ve had more storms resulting in school cancellations than I can count, which is in turn wreaking havoc on my graduation date. It’s not just snow storms, either — that I could have handled. There hasn’t been any real accumulation for long due to the intermittent RAIN storms melting the snow. My backyard has been a permanent flood.
I mean, it was 58 degrees when I woke up Monday morning! I was in heaven! That evening the temp plummeted again and we’re back to the snow storm. We didn’t get a delay or anything for school, but we do have a 2-hour one for tomorrow due to the current storm. It’s 24 degrees right now with plenty of wind and stinging hail-like freezing rain. Another cancellation is very possible, as it’s not supposed to let up for a long time.
