I am so relieved to find out that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be split up into two movies. After seeing the previous few, I’d seriously thought of giving up on the movie series.
You almost have to have read the books to understand what’s going on at all, and they cut out all my favorite parts. All you get is a plot skeleton. I think they should have come up with this earlier to go with some of the earlier books. I personally wouldn’t mind a few four hours films if they were accurate and of good quality.
They’ll also have to do some serious backpedaling if they are going to include some of the important details left out of the other movies. Snape is also underused. He is really an important character but, where is he? If they downsize his importance in HBP I will definitely shun the movies from then on. I mean, it’s practically called Harry Potter and Severus Snape. Give the man some freakin’ screen time!
I’m getting so tired of amping myself up for a new HP movie only to be royally disappointed when the final credits roll. Well, we’ll find out this time. I’m crossing my fingers.
