Vinyl Tile and Nail Polish

Oh, this is a bad combination. And I’ve just learned the hard way. I wake up from a nap, walk toward the restroom, and step in something strangely sticky in the hallway. I look down, on the vinyl tile of various dark “wood” colors, there is a spilled bottle of light pink, opalescent nail polish. I have no idea how it got there, or how it was open, but oh what a mess to clean up. I’ve never even worn that color!

The worst part is, the polish had blistered a top layer of plastic from the tile. Then on top of that, the tile is now bleached with a nice creamy pink colored splotch. Ack! Now there is a 4 inch light pink splotch dead center in the middle of a dark floor with loose plastic around the very edges. Truly wasn’t any fault of mine, but if I don’t post again, it’s because someone has murdered me. ;)
